Lending a paw to those that need it most
Jakarta’s street animals endure a miserable existence foraging in garbage for scraps and in sewers or puddles for water, while risking death or injury from vehicles, disease, a harsh environment, abuse and fighting with other animals in their violent world. We are a community of concerned individuals from all backgrounds who wish to help Jakarta's street animals by providing: 1. spaying and neutering operations to help reduce the population; 2. emergency first aid and hospitalization for diseased or injured animals on the streets; and 3. solutions for shelter or homes for the most vulnerable animals. Food donations for street animals are gratefully accepted for distribution on Jakarta’s streets. Our fundraisers look after paying the vet expenses.

What We Provide
Spaying and Neutering operations

Like many crowded urban areas, kittens of stray cats are abandoned on the streets or in the garbage year round due to the population becoming too large a problem to tackle over the years. Spaying and neutering is the best solution to stem the flow of unwanted kittens being born. Candidates for sterilizing are monitored, caught and brought in to a local vet's office and then given a V-notch cut into their left ear tip to identify them to the public as altered. We rely on fundraising to pay the vet fees and shelter recovering animals with us until their release back into their environment within the week.

Sadly, the local adoption rate is under one percent. Please check out our online gallery for rescued adoptable cats and dogs that would love to be loved. Everyone is welcome to to meet the rescued animals up for adoption or we would be happy to bring them to your residence either for fostering or adoption. If you will be leaving Indonesia in the future, we would be happy to assist in the paperwork to get your adopted pet export permits so that he or she can follow you home.

There are not enough homes for the countless street animals out there, so finding solutions for each case is necessary. Sally rescue kitten is a lucky example of a fortunate solution. She was adopted by the team of Happy Fresh grocery delivery service members behind Ranch Market in South Jakarta where she had been abandoned by her street cat mother, and she enjoys the staff's company daily at their staff's quarters behind the store. In return for her adoption, we fundraised and provided a spaying operation, an injection to treat her scabies, as well as keeping her on the community feeding route.
